Ryoma Tada

Ryoma Tada started playing drums at the age of 8 and by age of 10, he already studied with Kozo Suganuma and Rikiya Higashihara.
He entered Kunitachi Collage of Music and studied with world-wide Jazz players such as Makoto Ozone, Akira Jimbo, Yosuke Yamashita, Sadao Watanabe to name a few.
At senior year of the college, he joined Keio University Light Music Society which is considered one of the best student band in Japan and won Yamano Big Band Jazz Contest in 2017. Yamano Big Band Jazz Contest is only college level big band nationwide contest. He was selected as a member of JFC All Star Big Band , a pickup group formed by most talented music majors in Kanto regionand , made an appearance at Tokyo Jazz Festival with Makoto Ozone. April, 2021, he toured with Japanese largest idle management company, Johnny’s Entertainment’s 『Johnny’s WEST LIVE TOUR 2021 “rainboW” 』
He has been an endorsor of Japanese drumhead company ASPR since 2018 and a member of Japanese pop band ”DEARS” since its beginning. This band was featured nation-wide on NTV “Matsuko Kaigi”. He plays Jazz, Fusion, Funk, and J-POP.
He has that open minded appreciation that allows him to see the value of many different types of music.
He has performed with Terumasa Hino, Tiger Okoshi, Eric Marienthal, Michael Thomas, Ryan Keberle, SHANTI, Dairo Miyamoto, Koichi Yahori, Tetsuo Sakurai, Jiro Yoshida, Satoru Shionoya, Takana Miyamoto and the list goes on.
